Call for Applications

Dear International Fellows,

Scholarships are available to dermatologists outside the United States and Canada interested in attending the 70th Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), 16-20 March 2012, in San Diego, California. This international scholarship program is administered by the International Affairs Committee of the AAD.

Scholarship winners receive free registration for the meeting and free admission to a one-day long post-graduate course. Applicants must be endorsed and nominated by their national dermatologic society. Only two applicants per country will be considered. The scholarship does not provide funds for travel or housing, and recipients must make arrangements themselves. Previous scholarship recipients are not eligible.

Applicants should complete the online form at www.aad.org/education-and-quality-care/awards-grants-and-scholarships/aad-annual-meeting-registration-scholarship starting 1st of June 2011.

Officers of national dermatologic societies must complete the nomination form at www.aad.org/education-and-quality-care/awards-grants-and-scholarships/aad-annual-meeting-registration-scholarship starting 1st of June 2011.

All applications and nominations must be submitted on the AAD website by the 1st of September 2011 for the 2012 AAD Annual Meeting.
Applicants and societies will be notified in October 2011 on the status of their applications.
